Who We Are
Open Gate Ministries of Dinuba, CA is a private nonprofit corporation, serving the under-resourced of Northern Tulare and Southern Fresno Counties since 1974. Online donations are available and HIGHLY APPRECIATED! We cannot do what we do to serve others without our community partners.
Shelter
This beautiful old house was purchased in 1984. It provides a warm, home-like atmosphere for up to 34 guests in need of food and shelter. Family units and handicap facilities are available. Our staff members serve around the clock to assist families as they work toward reintegrating back into the community.
Food Distribution
We serve families from the surrounding region at 7 locations in Dinuba, partnering with local churches, and in Orosi & Cutler. We receive weekly deliveries of food from Wal-Mart, Grocery Outlet & Superior Foods through the Feeding America program at Central California Food Bank, and monthly deliveries from Foodlink Tulare County. Thank you serving with us as we fight hunger and food-insecurity in our neighborhoods!
Thrift Store and Boutique
Our Thrift Store and Boutique in downtown Dinuba at 133 South “L” Street is open 9:30 AM – 4:45 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Sales through our thrift store in excess of expenses provide over $40,000 in additional funding for our ministry each year.
